Gardening with Daddy

Bella and Daddy decided to plant the Easter Lilies we received as gifts in the front yard.

What a little gardener she is turning out to be. The care she takes is really amazing.

And if you look closely, you will notice the diva sunglasses paired with the heart pj bottoms. She can garden like no other but dressing herself is a different story...

Beautiful!!!!!

The Tulip Festival

Cameron kept wanting to smell the tulips, He looked so small among them. They were as tall as him.

What you can't see in this picture is the tractor that Cam is so facinated by.

Bella's favorite were the red ones. It must be her passionate side....

"Bella, don't walk in the puddle!"....How could any kid resist? Are we cool parents or what?

A fun kite show was more exciting than the tulips, Bella wanted to catch them.

Coming home from Easter...

The let down, I guess the candy high didn't last as long as we thought it would. I think this was maybe after five minutes on the road.

Easter!

Happy Easter to all! This year we had a fabulous time at "Gramma & Papa's" house. Our friends Ben and Rose were able to join us for the easter egg hunt which made it all the more fun.

A little help from daddy for Cam. He was more interested in the pond inside the greenhouse.

Bella leading the troops of course, yes all those eggs had candy in them. (What were we thinking?)

Basket time was of course one of the highlights. By the time we left, I think enough candy was consumed to keep little bodies going for days before the sugar high wore off.

The Zoo

We took our first trip of the season to the zoo. The kids were so excited to go, they could hardly contain themselves. The morning was cool so all the animals were out for us to see. Bella had us running around the park frantically looking for gorillas and once we found them, they put on quite a show. If any of you know the nature of gorillas, they can be pretty gross when feeling upset. Bella proceeded with "that's disgusting" and we quickly went looking for bears. I think Cameron was amazed that all the animals in his books were actually real! The elephants were especially interesting for him, he just kept pointing and saying "wow".

Our First Post!

Hello family and friends, we have finally joined the blogging world. This is very new to us so please be patient.

Here are the most recent pictures of our kiddos, it was an interesting adventure. Trying to keep both kids interested in taking pictures together was a challenge. We did manage to some what succeed as you can see. We didn't however get a single picture of Cameron by himself. The nice photo people did some magic though and cut Cam out of the group photo to create his own. It came out good, but I wasn't able to get it from the CD (sorry).
