New Pool

So we decided to splurge on this very nice blow up shark pool this summer. We previously had your three ring, blow up variety, this is definitely a step up. We even got the fancy air pump to go with it, instead of causing major brain damage and extracting all the life out of ourselves trying to bring this baby to life! You know what I mean people!

Logan has recently starting posing for the camera as I stated in an earlier post. I swear this doesn't run in the family...do you believe me?
By the way, this fun event took place while I was doing the grocery shopping (in glorious solitude). So I really can't complain about the next picture of Logan....
While in the loving care of his father (had to throw that in) Logan took a header off the deck, landed on his head and scraped his face. Oh that beautiful face, our first major biff.

Say cheese!

Today at our new water park, the kids had a blast but I of course forgot to take any pictures. This is the only one but it is fantastic! Logan saw me hold up the camera, I didn't even say his name yet and he tilted his head and smiled. I think he takes after his sister more and more each day. Interpret that as you wish...you all know Bella.

How dad keeps his girlish figure

Happy Father's Day!

Father's Day was so nice for the Leonardson household. Darin worked the better part of the morning doing a giant brunch at his restaurant. Once he got home, we headed to Papa's house to celebrate and Ooh and Ahh over the new tire swing.

Very impressive, the kids of course were in heaven!

Even dad had to try it out...

I know where we will be headed this summer, can't beat a giant swing in the woods. I'm pretty sure Bella and Cam felt like Tarzan.

Wave of the future

Preschool Graduation

I can't believe it, our little girl is done with preschool! We attended graduation Wednesday night and it was a very fun but emotional event. I couldn't believe that this day had come, you would have thought she was off to college already. All the graduating PreK kids sang songs and performed for us tearful parents and grandparents. They actually had a little ceremony where each kid was called up to shake their teacher's hand while the crowd cheered, very cute.

Miss Bella of course loved being on stage in front of all those people. No fear...
Our little graduate, it's off to kindergarten in the fall.

Bella and her graduation buddy. These two are really good friends, we are already planning the wedding. That's all we need is more height in the family, and blondness too!

Big diggers!

Anyone that knows Cameron, knows he is in love with construction vehicles. Our church is doing major construction and every day that we take Bella to school, Cameron comes unglued with excitement to be able to watch the "big diggers". Daddy, being the coolest dad ever decided to take the kids to see the equipment after church service when they wouldn't be in use. The kids of course loved it and Cameron was in heaven! Just don't tell our Pastor we did it....

Evening with Dad

Recently I had a dinner date with a few girlfriends and Darin decided to take the kids to park while I was gone. They had such a good time and I think it was really good for him to experience all three of them alone in public. He said things went very well, no problems and it was basically easy. I find that really hard to believe! Good for him though (no bitterness in my voice)

Cameron climbing high on one of the play structures...no fear!
How cute is Bella, posing for the camera.
Logan loves being in the backpack..especially when daddy is wearing a hat, he likes to grab it. I can't wear him like this, he pulls my hair.
I heard a rumor that Papa put one of these in his yard...wonder if it was just for the kiddos?

Olive fingers

I'm sure all kids do this, but I happen to think it's really funny.

The many faces of Logan Jack

Logan changes pretty much daily so here are a few current pictures of him and his many new adventures...
Waking up in the morning is always a treat when you have this face looking at you.

You can't see it but his shirt says "my mom rocks"...just thought I'd mention it.

Our biggest challenge with Logan is keeping him away from all of big brothers cool toys.

We found him like this screaming for help.

Bath time is always fun, he would stay in all day if I let him.

1st Hike

We decided it was time to venture on our first family hike with all the kids. We of course took it easy and picked a really easy hike with a lot of resting spots. The kids were most impressed with the river of course. The were such troopers, Cam's little legs really carried him far and I think Bella did the best out of all of us.

Darin looking like "Super Dad"...

Actually a pretty nice picture of us..you can see Logan's head in the background.
