The Fremont Troll

We have this great story book that follows the adventures of a boy and his dog all over Seattle. One of the things they see is the Fremont Troll so we decided to go see it for ourselves. Bella was very excited but Cameron was terrified. He ran screaming and saying through tears "Mama, no like it troll! Want to go home!"

Maybe some of the other locations in the book will be of more interest to him.

Brotherly Love

Cameron and Logan are finally bonding, probably due to the fact that Cam realizes Logan isn't going anywhere.

Pumpkin Patch Attempt

We attempted the Pumpkin Patch recently and it was definitely one of those "learning experiences" for us as parents. We had really cranky kids who were insistent on making this a miserable experience for all attending. The only thing that would make things better for them would of course be candy and balloons,...not happening. We reluctantly decided to leave pretty much as soon as we arrived. No fun for us of course, but even less fun for the kids. Bella made sure to let me know as we were heading through the parking lot (through tears of course) that the only thing that would make her behave would be a "balloon and other fun stuff". Anyone that knows me, knows that went really far.

Before leaving we did manage to snap a few photos that were kind of fun.

Look how big Logan is already! I can't believe how fast time is going by, much faster than with his siblings. I know it's because I'm so busy with all of them, but this kid seems to be growing at warp speed! He is almost in number 2 diapers (for all you moms out there, you know how amazing that is since he is only 7 1/2 weeks old)

This is a genuine smile according to Darin. I wasn't there to see it but since this, Logan has been smiling quite a lot.

Big Boy Bed

Cameron has finally graduated to his toddler bed. We were all very nervous making the change for him, he doesn't take it well. We were especially scared because his crib was going to his brother Logan. We didn't want the dialogue to go "check out your new baby brother, and he gets your bed". So we decided to wait a while and see how things went. He was very excited to make the switch and of course when bed time actually came, he spent most of the time sleeping on the floor. (Sorry no pictures of that)
